Must Watch: Fantastic Official Trailer for Gavin O’Connor’s ‘Warrior’

Warrior Trailer

“Are we here to win this fight?” Lionsgate has debuted the first trailer via Apple for Gavin O’Connor’s new film Warrior, an inspirational sports drama focusing on two MMA fighters who happen to be brothers. This stars Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton as the two brothers, Nick Nolte as their estranged father, and even includes Jennifer Morrison and Noah Emmerich. This is the movie I’ve been raving about since getting an early glimpse of it last week  and I’m excited to share the trailer with everyone, too.Warrior is such a great movie and I’m more than happy to start building fantastic buzz for it.

The youngest son (Hardy) of a former boxer returns home, where he’s trained by his father (Nolte) for competition in a MMA tournament — a path that also puts him on a collision corner with his older brother.

Warrior is directed by American filmmaker Gavin O’Connor, of films like TumbleweedsMiracle, andPride and Glory previously. The screenplay was written by Anthony Tambakis, Cliff Dorfman & O’Connor from a story by Cliff Dorfman (“Entourage”) & Gavin O’Connor. This was filmed back in 2009 mostly in Pittsburgh and Atlantic City. Lionsgate is finally bringing Warrior to theaters starting September 9th later this year.
